Joseph Khalife

Joseph F. Khalife has been teaching music at LAU, where he also organizes several annual concerts. He is trained in Carl Onfl and Marcel Corneloup methods at the Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK), and over the past 30 years in composing music in Italy, France, Switzerland and the United States.

Khalife has produced 15 music albums of his LAU annual concerts and has composed music for several television programs and for well-known Lebanese poets, theater producers, directors, as well as singers, including Majida el Roumi, Joumana Medawar, and many others. He has presented concerts with Majida el Roumi in 18 countries and with Joumana Medawar in six countries, in addition to numerous religious concerts in Lebanon, France, Italy, the United States, Canada, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar. Khalife has been promoted to Senior Instructor and made Musician in Residence by the University both effective the Fall 2013 semester.
