Marc Fakhoury

Lecturer of Biology

Dr. Marc Fakhoury received a BS in Biochemistry and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from McGill University, Canada, followed by a PhD in Neurological Sciences from the Université de Montréal, Canada. He joined the then-Department of Natural Sciences at LAU as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2020 and became a full-time lecturer in Biology in 2022. He primarily teaches undergraduate courses, such as general biology, anatomy and physiology. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in leading international journals and books, and was featured among the World’s Top 2% Most Cited Scientists in a global study led by Stanford University and published by Elsevier.
