Michele El Chemaly

Lecturer of Music

Michele El Chemaly is a pianist, researcher in musicology, music instructor and choir accompanist.

She’s been teaching at the National Higher Conservatory of Music in Beirut, at the Holy Spirit University in Kaslik and at St Joseph University in Mar Roukoz. She has given conferences in international music congresses in Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and more.

Additionally, she has been nominated as International arbitrator for the International Electronic Journal of the Faculty of Specific Education at Mansoura University, Egypt.

Michele performed in many concerts in Lebanon, Cyprus, Jordan, France, India and Canada, and performed in many TV programs with the Choir of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and the Choir of Qadisha.

Since Fall 2022, she’s been a full-time music lecturer at LAU, teaching Middle Eastern music.
