Nermine Mufti Hage holds an MA degree in TEFEL and is a senior instructor of English and public speaking in the Department of Communication, Arts and Languages. She has been teaching at LAU since 1993. Hage is a debate trainer and judge in formal debate competitions in Lebanon.

Professional Memberships

She is the vice president in the Youth Association of the Blind, head of the education committee at WLC, and a board member in the Lebanese Inclusion Network. She has carried out numerous workshops and trainings on Language teaching and the art of public speaking, and has been involved with UNICEF on the regional Gender Based Violence guidelines, and with UN SDG 4/Quality Education Focus Groups.
