Reem Deeb

Assistant Professor of Practice, Performing Arts

Dr. Reem Deeb has over 16 years of experience in teaching and performing extensively in the United States, Middle East and Europe. Her repertoire includes several recitals, oratorio, opera and musical theatre roles and productions. She also is an active member in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is an associate organist and soprano soloist at the National Evangelical Church of Beirut. She widely collaborates with many to spread cultural awareness, peace and joy. Dr. Deeb is the first to be appointed as artist in residence to this type of position at the Lebanese American University, Beirut.

Dr. Deeb works with LAU students to develop their musical skills and to collaborate with the programs at LAU on performing arts projects, in addition to working with other artists, organizations and the community. She is delighted to have a platform to perform at LAU and at other venues under the auspices of LAU to raise the performing arts profile.
