Zulqurnain Sabir
Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Zulqurnain Sabir is an assistant professor of mathematics in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics. He joined LAU as an assistant professor in 2023. Prior to that, he worked at the United Arab Emirates University, UAE as a senior researcher.
He earned his Master’s and MPhil degrees in Mathematics from the University of Punjab, and Preston University, Pakistan. He graduated with his PhD in mathematics from Hazara University, Pakistan. He has published more than 200 research papers in reported international WoS journals with good impact factors. His cumulative impact factor is around 700, with 44 h-index and 113 i10- index (according to Google Scholar).
Research Interests
His area of interest includes artificial neural networks (supervised and unsupervised) as well as deep neural networks. He is famous for solving the singular, functional, fractional, higher order, biological and fluid models. He is a pioneer in extending the Lane-Emden and the Emden-Fowler models up to the seventh order and solving by using artificial neural networks. He also solved pantograph, prediction, delay differential singular models along with the fractional order biological models including coronavirus, bone transformation, cancer, influenza, dengue model, etc. He is nominated in the list of the top two percent of scientists with various disciplines according to Stanford University’s global list.
