Code and Fly: The Drone Programming Experience Boot Camp (Beirut Campus)
The Code and Fly: The Drone Programming Experience Bootcamp is an exciting, hands-on summer program designed for high school students (Grades 9-12) at LAU. Over five days, students will dive into the fundamentals of Python programming and robotics while working with drone kits. They will start with essential programming skills and progressively apply their knowledge to control, automate, and execute drone maneuvers in real-world challenges. Through interactive workshops, coding challenges and team-based drone missions, students will develop problem-solving skills, creativity and technical confidence. By the end of the camp, they will have programmed drones to complete various flight tasks, from obstacle navigation to coordinated drone formations.
This experience will not only strengthen their programming foundation but also introduce them to cutting-edge applications in robotics, automation and AI—all in a fun, engaging environment.
Hurry up and register before June 10.
Camp Objectives
1
Understand and apply fundamental Python programming concepts, as well as write and debug Python scripts for controlling drones.
2
