Take the Stage: Summer Camp in Acting, Music & Dance (Beirut Campus)
Take the Stage Summer Camp will introduce the participants to the basic acting craft, dance moves and fundamentals, music creation and vocal techniques; and empower them to understand these methods through fun exercises on body, voice, creativity and improvisation. Participants will also learn the basics of storytelling through creating and performing their own monologues/performance pieces.Are you ready to step into the spotlight? Whether you dream of acting, singing or dancing on stage, expressing yourself with confidence, or just having an unforgettable week, this camp is for you!
Over the period of five days at Take the Stage Summer Camp, you’ll:
- Train with expert coaches in acting, dance and music.
- Unlock your creativity through fun exercises and games.
- Create and perform your own original piece in front of a live audience.
- Make new friends who share your passion for the stage.
No experience? No problem! Just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll help you shine.
The best 3 performances (judged by a distinguished jury of LAU faculty) will receive LAU scholarships if they enroll in the BA in Performing Arts program.
- 1st place: 20% scholarship
- 2nd place: 15% scholarship
- 3rd place: 10% scholarship
