Workshop: What do we know about Migration and Lebanon? An assessment of knowledge production
The Department of Social Sciences hosted a workshop entitled: What do we know about Migration and Lebanon? An assessment of knowledge production.
The Workshop was organised by Lama Kabbanji (CEPED-IRD), Paul Tabar (IMS-LAU) and Jennifer Skulte-Ouaiss (DSS-LAU) at the Institute for Migration Studies (IMS) at LAU on April 12, 2013.
The objective of the workshop is twofold:
- Discuss the production of scientific knowledge on migration in/out of Lebanon
- Provide an assessment of the broad range of research relating to the study of migration in/out of Lebanon (Lebanese in West Africa, Political remittances , Gender and Migra-tion , Highly skilled Lebanese migration…)
