The Communication Arts department has the pleasure of hosting Samar Media, a citizen-based media platform devoted to covering positive and inspiring news about the Middle East.
The event will include a panel discussion about positive news and its importance. Students will then have the option to engage in generating and developing story ideas.
Samar Media would also like to recruit producers and citizen journalists to work/intern with them.
Date and time: Thursday December 11 from 5-7PM at BB903, Beirut Campus.
The event is open to the public.
