Mrs. Paula Habre Co-presented in “Cultivating Research Capacity through International Exchanges” Workshop
Mrs. Paula A Habre, LAU Writing Center Director, co-presented with Dr. Belinda Walzer, the Writing Center Director of Northeastern University at the Annual Conference on College Composition and Communication (4Cs) in an all day workshop entitled, “Cultivating Research Capacity through International Exchanges about Higher Education Writing Research” on March 15, 2017 in Portland, Oregon. The topic revolved around a collaboration between the two writing centers that started this year at the tutor and tutees level. As a result of the collaborative, two virtual training sessions have been conducted so far via Skype between the two teams on multilingual writers and the challenges that tutors face at the professional and institutional levels.
