Rally Against Apartheid التجمع المناهض للفصل العنصري
“The Rally against Apartheid: Resisting Occupation in Cyberspace” is an independent educational initiative co-organized with the Institute of Media Research and Training at Lebanese American University. Offering free workshops and training sessions that are delivered by professionals and accessible to the public, the Rally’s programming aims to develop strong counter-narratives that debunk dominant Zionist narratives proliferated by Israel’s occupying apartheid regime, and to cultivate skills that transform such counter narratives into digital media. The Rally trains participants on how to base their counter-Zionism apartheid arguments on facts drawn from historical, cultural, military, geographical, and legal sources.
RAA is founded and facilitated by Maya Majzoub and Dr. Gretchen King is the advisor and co-facilitator.
“التجمع المناهض للفصل العنصري: مقاومة الاحتلال في الفضاء الإلكتروني” هي مبادرة تعليمية مستقلة نُظّمت بالتعاون مع معهد البحوث والتدريب الإعلامي في الجامعة اللبنانية الأمريكية. يهدف التجمع إلى تطوير سردية مضادة تدحض السردية الصهيونية السائدة، وإلى تنمية مهارات عمليّة تسمح للمشاركين بتحويل السردية المضادة إلى مواد رقميّة، وذلك من خلال ورش عمل ودورات تدريبية مجانية يقدمها محترفون و لجميع المهتمين. تساعد المبادرة المشاركين على تطوير “فن المحاججة”، من حيث بناء حجج عقلانية مناهضة للصهيونية ونظام الفصل العنصري الاحتلالي الإسرائيلي (الأبارتهايد) مدعمّة بحقائق تاريخية وثقافية وعسكرية وجغرافية وقانونية، ومن ثم تعميمها عبر المنابر الإلكترونيّة.
